As an HSE Manager at PCL, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our health, safety, and environmental programs to maintain a safe and sustainable workplace.   1. Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  3. Maintain a thorough understanding of all safety regulations and industry best practices.
  4. Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure all safety requirements are met.
  5. Develop and deliver safety training programs to educate employees and stakeholders on safe work practices.
  6. Investigate and report on incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  7. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop and maintain project-specific safety plans.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and participate in safety audits and inspections.
  10. Stay informed of emerging safety trends and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  11. Develop and maintain a positive safety culture within the company, promoting a proactive approach to safety.
  12. Lead emergency response planning and ensure effective response to any safety-related incidents.
  13. Manage a team of safety professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  14. Ensure all safety-related documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date.
  15. Communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization to promote safety and achieve company goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Safety Regulations And Standards.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Construction Safety Management, With At Least 3 Years In A Supervisory Role.

  • Professional Certification Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Construction Health And Safety Technician (Chst).

  • Excellent Communication, Leadership, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Construction Environment.
