We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Field Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in the successful completion of our projects. As an Electrical Field Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from commercial buildings to infrastructure developments, and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.   1. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess electrical systems and identify any potential issues or improvements needed.
  2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop electrical plans and designs for various construction projects.
  3. Provide technical expertise and support to the project team throughout all phases of the project, from planning to completion.
  4. Ensure all electrical work is in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  5. Review and approve electrical submittals and shop drawings.
  6. Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical-related problems that may arise during construction.
  8. Keep accurate and detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, work orders, and change orders.
  9. Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets PCL's high standards and project requirements.
  10. Stay updated on industry developments, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  11. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to provide project updates and address any concerns.
  12. Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  13. Mentor and train junior engineers and other team members to support their professional growth and development.
  14. Represent PCL in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Electrical Construction Or Engineering

  • Strong Knowledge Of Electrical Systems And Codes, Including Nec And Nfpa

  • Experience With Project Management And Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Schematics

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With A Focus On Safety And Quality Control.
