Job Description

At PCL Construction, we are seeking a highly skilled and driven individual to join our team as a District Buildings Systems Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of all building systems within the district.   1. Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and sustainable building systems in the district.
  2. Oversee the maintenance and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
  3. Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement in building systems.
  4. Collaborate with project teams to ensure that building systems are integrated into construction plans and implemented effectively.
  5. Monitor and analyze building system data to identify opportunities for cost savings and energy efficiency.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in building systems technology to make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Ensure compliance with all building codes and regulations related to building systems.
  8. Manage a team of building systems technicians and provide guidance, training, and support as needed.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
  10. Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on building systems and address any concerns or issues.
  11. Develop and manage budgets for building systems maintenance and upgrades.
  12. Conduct regular safety training and ensure all building systems are up to safety standards.
  13. Create and maintain documentation for all building systems processes and procedures.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to support overall project goals and objectives.
  15. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to showcase our expertise in building systems management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical, Electrical, Or Civil Engineering

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Construction Project Management Or Building Systems Management

  • Strong Understanding Of Building Systems And Their Integration

  • Knowledge Of Local Building Codes And Regulations

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Work With Stakeholders At All Levels.
