- Source and procure materials and services needed for construction projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure reliable and quality supply of materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for ongoing projects.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Analyze data and reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with accounting and finance departments to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to procurement and supply chain management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and provide input on purchasing strategies and decisions.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement, Purchasing, Or Supply Chain Management In The Construction Industry.
Strong Negotiation Skills And Ability To Analyze And Evaluate Supplier Proposals.
Familiarity With Construction Materials And Equipment, Including Pricing And Lead Times.
Knowledge Of Contract Management And Ability To Review And Negotiate Terms And Conditions.
