  • Utilize BIM software and tools to create accurate and detailed 3D models of construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop BIM execution plans and implement BIM standards and workflows.
  • Train and support project teams in the use of BIM technology and processes.
  • Ensure all project documentation and models are accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Identify and resolve any conflicts or issues within the BIM model and communicate them to the project team.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  • Work closely with project managers and engineers to identify potential areas for BIM implementation and improvement.
  • Conduct quality control checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with other BIM Specialists to share best practices and improve overall BIM processes within the company.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for BIM-related inquiries and provide support to project teams as needed.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve BIM processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams and external partners or stakeholders regarding BIM implementation and processes.
  • Participate in meetings and presentations to showcase the benefits and capabilities of BIM technology.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company's values and standards in all interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Bim Software: A Bim Specialist Should Have A Strong Understanding And Working Knowledge Of Various Bim Software, Such As Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, And/Or Bluebeam, To Effectively Create And Manage Bim Models.

  • Construction Industry Experience: Candidates For This Role Should Have Experience Working In The Construction Industry, Preferably In A Bim-Related Role. This Will Give Them An Understanding Of Construction Processes And Workflows, Which Is Crucial For Success In This Position.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards: A Bim Specialist Should Be Familiar With Industry Standards And Best Practices For Bim, Such As The National Bim Standard-United States (Nbims-Us) And The Bim Forum Level Of Development (Lod) Specification. This Knowledge Will Ensure That Bim Models Adhere To Industry Standards And Are Compatible With Other Project Stakeholders' Models.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is A Key Aspect Of A Bim Specialist's Role As They Will Be Working Closely With Various Project Team Members, Including Architects, Engineers, And Contractors. The Ability To Clearly Communicate Technical Information And Collaborate With Others Is Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Attention To Detail: Bim Models Are Complex And Require A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure Accuracy And Consistency. A Bim Specialist Should Have A Meticulous Eye For Detail And Be Able To Spot And Resolve Any Errors Or Inconsistencies In The Bim Model. This Quality Is Crucial For Producing High-Quality Bim Models That Can Be Relied Upon For Accurate Construction Documentation.
