Sr User Experience Researcher

- Conduct in-depth user research studies to gather insights and understand user behavior.
- Lead and execute research projects to identify areas for improvement and inform product design and development.
- Work closely with product teams to identify research objectives and develop research plans.
- Utilize a variety of research methods such as surveys, interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to uncover user needs and preferences.
- Analyze and synthesize research findings to create actionable recommendations for product improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research is integrated into the product development process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX research.
- Develop and maintain research protocols, tools, and processes.
- Communicate research findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Mentor and guide junior researchers in conducting effective research studies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve research methods and processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert for UX research within the organization.
- Foster a user-centric mindset throughout the company by advocating for the importance of UX research.
- Effectively manage and prioritize multiple research projects and deadlines.
- Represent the company at conferences and events related to UX research.
Extensive Experience Conducting User Research: A Senior User Experience Researcher At Paypal Should Possess A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Conducting User Research In A Professional Setting. This Includes Designing And Implementing Research Studies, Analyzing Data, And Presenting Findings To Stakeholders.
Strong Technical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using A Variety Of Research Tools And Methods, Including User Testing, Surveys, And Data Analysis Software. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Web Analytics And Be Familiar With Industry-Standard Ux Research Tools.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Ux Principles: A Senior User Experience Researcher Should Have A Deep Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles And How To Apply Them To Improve The Overall User Experience. They Should Also Be Familiar With The Latest Trends And Best Practices In Ux Research.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires Strong Communication Skills, As The Senior User Experience Researcher Will Be Responsible For Presenting Research Findings To Stakeholders And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Research Findings In A Clear And Concise Manner.
Experience Working In A Fast-Paced Environment: Paypal Is A Dynamic And Fast-Paced Company, And The Senior User Experience Researcher Should Be Able To Thrive In This Type Of Environment. They Should Be Able To Manage Multiple Projects And Deadlines, While Still Maintaining A High Level Of Quality In Their Work. Adaptability And Resilience Are Important Qualities For This Role.
