- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, including pricing, terms, and service level agreements, to ensure the best value for the company.
- Conduct regular vendor evaluations and performance reviews to measure and improve vendor performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders from IT, finance, legal, and procurement, to identify and implement cost-saving measures and improve the efficiency of vendor management processes.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments in technology vendor management to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Develop and maintain vendor management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Manage the vendor onboarding and offboarding processes, including due diligence and contract termination, to ensure a smooth transition and minimize any potential disruptions to business operations.
- Monitor and report on vendor performance metrics to senior management to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of vendor management professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure their development and success.
Extensive Experience In Vendor Management: A Sr. Manager, Tech Vendor Management At Paypal Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Managing And Collaborating With Vendors In The Technology Industry. This Includes Managing Vendor Relationships, Negotiating Contracts, And Ensuring Compliance With Company Policies And Procedures.
