Manager, US Federal & State Tax

At PayPal, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Manager, US Federal & State Tax to join our Tax Department. The ideal candidate should be a strategic, creative and detail-oriented problem solver who is passionate about tax and takes initiative.The successful candidate should have a proven track record of success in a similar role and be able to effectively oversee the US Federal & State tax function. The Manager, US Federal & State Tax will have an in-depth understanding of the US tax law and regulations, as well as the ability to manage a team of tax professionals.The successful candidate should possess strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the Manager, US Federal & State Tax should be adept in managing tight deadlines and sensitive tax issues, and be comfortable making decisions independently and with accountability.Required qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, with a concentration in taxation, and a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role. CPA certification is preferred, but not required.
