You will work closely with various teams, such as the Compliance, Risk Management and Legal departments, to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.To be successful in this role, you should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a minimum 5 years of experience in a legal department or law firm. Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and guidance on a variety of litigation matters such as contract disputes, claims, and intellectual property and data privacy matters.
2. Work closely with Compliance, Risk Management and Legal departments to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.
3. Strategically analyze and resolve legal disputes.
4. Research and create legal documents and contracts.
5. Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
6. Monitor changes in relevant legislation and keep the legal department updated.
7. Represent the company in legal proceedings.
8. Negotiate settlements and agreements.
9. Manage external legal counsel.
10. Maintain professional and ethical conduct standards.
