Lead Product Manager - API Platform

At PayPal, we are looking for an experienced Lead Product Manager for our API Platform who has the drive to develop and deliver world-class products. This role requires a creative, innovative leader with a track record of success in product management.The ideal candidate should have a passion for understanding customer needs, developing products that meet those needs and a background that demonstrates strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills. In addition to the ability to think outside the box, they should also have a strong technical background and an understanding of the API Platform.The Lead Product Manager will be responsible for building and owning the product roadmap, driving product initiatives from concept to launch and leading cross-functional teams to deliver against business objectives. They will also be responsible for understanding customer needs and developing products that meet those needs. Working with engineering, marketing and business teams, the Lead Product Manager will be a key contributor to the success of PayPal’s API Platform.Qualifications:• 5+ years of product management experience in a software or technology related field• Demonstrated success in developing and launching products• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment• Strong technical background, with an understanding of the API Platform• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
