  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive internal controls framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate financial risks.
  2. Conduct regular assessments of existing controls and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement controls for new processes and systems.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in internal controls to continuously improve the company's control environment.
  5. Prepare and present reports to senior management and stakeholders on the effectiveness of internal controls and any identified issues or deficiencies.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the company's compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors to support the external audit process.
  8. Oversee the training and development of team members to ensure a deep understanding of internal controls and their role in maintaining the company's financial integrity.
  9. Advise and guide management on the implementation of internal controls in new business initiatives and projects.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert on internal controls and provide guidance and support to various departments within the organization.
  11. Identify and assess potential risks and develop action plans to mitigate them.
  12. Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives related to internal controls and risk management.
  13. Foster a culture of compliance and accountability within the organization.
  14. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls.
  15. Continuously review and update internal control policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Internal Controls, Audit, Or Risk Management.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Financial And Operational Controls, Compliance Regulations, And Best Practices.

  • Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Internal Control Professionals.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Cross-Functional Teams.
