Job Description

Are you an ambitious, self-motivated finance or accounting student looking for an opportunity to gain experience in the financial industry? PayPal is looking for a Finance & Accounting Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be a valued member of the Finance & Accounting team, working closely with our experienced professionals to gain a comprehensive understanding of the PayPal business. You will be expected to take on a variety of responsibilities and tasks, allowing you to develop your skills in finance and accounting.The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong educational background in finance or accounting, and the capability to apply their knowledge in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and make an impact.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
  2. Assist with the preparation of budget and forecasts
  3. Assist with the analysis of financial data
  4. Participate in the month-end/year-end closing process
  5. Assist with the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures
  6. Assist with the research and resolution of financial issues
  7. Assist with the preparation and filing of regulatory reports
  8. Assist with special projects as needed
  9. Develop an understanding of the PayPal business and its financial operations
  10. Provide support to senior team members on various projects
