Job Description

Are you a passionate advocate for people with disabilities and a proactive leader in Disability and Leave of Absence management? PayPal is looking for a Disability and Leave of Absence Lead to join our Human Resources team and make a positive impact on the lives of our employees.As the Disability and Leave of Absence Lead, you will be responsible for developing, administering, and managing our disability and leave of absence policies and programs. You will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws related to FMLA, ADA, and other relevant laws. You will also provide guidance and support to our HR team, managers, and employees on a variety of disability and leave of absence issues.The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, or a related field, plus at least 5 years of experience in disability and leave of absence management. You must possess exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to a culture of inclusion and diversity. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, administer, and manage disability and leave of absence policies and programs in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  2. Provide guidance and support to HR team, managers, and employees on disability and leave of absence matters.
  3. Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and other relevant laws.
  4. Monitor and update policies and processes related to disability and leave of absence management.
  5. Assist with the investigation and resolution of complaints and appeals related to disability and leave of absence.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and implement new initiatives.
  7. Create and deliver training and educational materials related to disability and leave of absence policies and procedures.
  8. Research best practices and industry standards for disability and leave of absence management.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to disability and leave of absence.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors.
