Director of SRE and AI Ops

We are looking for an experienced Director of SRE and AI Ops to join the PayPal team! As the Director of SRE and AI Ops you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy for managing the reliability and availability of our SRE and AI operations. You will collaborate with the engineering and product teams to develop plans to ensure the highest levels of service reliability, performance, scalability, and availability.We are seeking an individual with a strong technical background and a passion for driving innovation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and leading SRE and AI operations teams, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field* 10+ years of experience in SRE and/or AI operations* 5+ years of experience in a leadership role* Expertise in designing, building, and managing cloud-based infrastructure* Deep understanding of monitoring and observability tools* Experience in designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines* Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
