Director, Legal Counsel - Product
PayPal is seeking a high caliber and energetic attorney with experience in financial services regulation and technology to join our Global Consumer Product Legal team. Provide proactive, timely and business-focused legal advice on financial services regulations. Advise on the design and modification of products, proactively identify associated risks and recommend mitigation strategies, and review product user experiences to ensure legal compliance with applicable laws.
Admitted to, and in good standing with, a State Bar.
6 or more years of experience practicing either in-house (or in an equivalent setting)
Familiarity with, and strong interest in, PayPal, Venmo, mobile and alternative payments, emerging payments technology
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to tolerate change and ambiguity.
