- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit strategy to ensure alignment with the company's mission and values.
- Identify and assess potential operational risks within the organization and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Oversee and manage a team of auditors to conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of company operations.
- Communicate and collaborate with senior management to provide updates on audit findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management processes are in place.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on risk management and internal control initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and suggest necessary changes to internal policies and procedures.
- Develop risk management training programs to educate employees on best practices and procedures.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of risk management processes and procedures.
- Continuously drive process improvements and efficiencies to enhance the overall effectiveness of the internal audit function.
Extensive Experience In Internal Audit And Risk Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Internal Audit And Risk Management, Preferably In A Financial Services Or Technology Company. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Risk Management Frameworks, Internal Control Processes, And Operational Risk Assessments.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Director, Internal Audit, Operational Risk At Paypal, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Collaborating With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management And External Auditors. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
