If so, PayPal is looking for a Director of Internal Audit to join our team and lead our global internal audit function. As the Director, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing our internal audit processes to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of our operations. We are seeking a candidate with strong leadership skills, extensive experience in internal audit, and a deep understanding of risk management and compliance.   1. Develop and implement an annual internal audit plan to assess and monitor the company's compliance with ethical standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  2. Lead and manage a team of internal auditors to conduct audits across all areas of the organization, including finance, operations, and compliance.
  3. Ensure that audit findings are properly communicated to relevant stakeholders and appropriate corrective actions are taken to address any identified deficiencies.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to identify and evaluate potential risks and develop strategies for mitigating those risks.
  5. Monitor changes in regulations and industry standards to ensure that internal audit processes remain up-to-date and compliant.
  6. Provide guidance and training to employees on ethical and compliant business practices to promote a strong culture of integrity within the organization.
  7. Oversee the development and maintenance of internal audit policies, procedures, and documentation.
  8. Prepare and present reports to senior management and the Audit Committee on the results of internal audits, including recommendations for improvement.
  9. Foster relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate information sharing and ensure alignment with their audit processes.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal audit processes and make recommendations for enhancements as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Internal Audit Principles And Practices: A Director Of Internal Audit At Paypal Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Internal Audit Processes, Methodologies, And Standards To Effectively Manage And Lead The Internal Audit Function.

  • Extensive Experience In Audit And Risk Management: Candidates Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Audit And Risk Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Identifying And Mitigating Risks Within A Large Organization.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: As A Director, Internal Audit, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Lead A Team Of Auditors, Manage Stakeholder Relationships, And Drive Change Within The Organization.

  • Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Effective Strategies To Mitigate Them. They Should Also Have The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Reports To Draw Meaningful Insights.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Director, Internal Audit Is Required To Communicate Complex Information Effectively To Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management And Board Members. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
