Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of executive compensation strategies that align with PayPal's overall business objectives and support our commitment to simplicity, security, and accessibility.
  2. Design and maintain competitive executive compensation plans that attract and retain top talent, while also motivating and rewarding high performance.
  3. Stay updated on market trends and industry best practices to ensure PayPal's executive compensation packages remain competitive and relevant.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Legal, to ensure alignment and compliance with all compensation and equity-related policies and regulations.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external compensation consultants and vendors to leverage their expertise and insights in the development of executive compensation strategies.
  6. Conduct regular reviews of existing executive compensation programs and make recommendations for improvements or updates as needed.
  7. Oversee the administration of all executive compensation programs, including equity grants, bonuses, and other incentives.
  8. Partner with executive leadership to educate and advise them on compensation-related matters, including pay philosophy, market trends, and program design.
  9. Lead the development and implementation of equity strategies and programs that support PayPal's business objectives and drive employee engagement and retention.
  10. Continuously monitor and analyze the effectiveness of compensation and equity programs, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  11. Stay updated on regulatory and compliance changes related to executive compensation and equity, and ensure PayPal's programs are in alignment with all applicable laws and regulations.
  12. Provide guidance and support to HR and Finance teams regarding executive compensation and equity matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  13. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of PayPal's business strategy, goals, and culture to ensure executive compensation and equity programs are aligned and supportive.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on executive compensation and equity matters, providing guidance and support to leadership, HR, and other stakeholders as needed.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and streamline operations related to executive compensation and equity programs, to ensure efficiency

  • Strategic Mindset And Business Acumen: This Role Requires A Strategic Thinker Who Can Align Executive Compensation And Equity Programs With The Overall Business Strategy Of Paypal. The Candidate Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial And Accounting Principles.

  • Strong Communication And Influencing Skills: As A Director, Executive Comp & Equity Strategy, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Collaborating With Senior Leaders, Board Members, And External Stakeholders. Excellent Communication And Influencing Skills Are Essential To Effectively Convey Complex Information And Gain Buy-In For Proposed Strategies.
