Job Description

Support Legal team on corporate governance matters, including preparation for PayPal board and committee meetings, stockholder engagement, investor relations support, maintenance and update of applicable corporate governance policies and procedures. Perform benchmarking and other research assignments on public company disclosures and corporate governance matters Monitor, track and advise on potential impacts of new and proposed securities laws, corporate governance developments and market trends to ensure continued compliance. Provide legal support for Treasury activities, including capital market transactions, credit facilities, parent company guarantees, KYC requests, and policy updates. Help to develop, implement, and continually improve company and team processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • 6-8 years of expertise in securities law (’33 and ’34 Act), SEC reporting matters and corporate governance

  • At least 2 years of experience at a top-tier law firm

  • Strong experience in subsidiary management, capital markets and treasury matters

  • Flexibility and creativity in dealing with complex legal issues

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with business clients and other functions
