We are currently looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on Paychex's success and to help shape the future of our Compensation team.The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of Paychex's compensation programs. This position requires an individual with strong analytical skills, a depth of knowledge in compensation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be able to collaborate with all levels of the organization and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. A Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CBP) designation is a plus. The successful candidate must possess strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills as well as a thorough understanding of compensation practices and principles. Additionally, the successful candidate must have a basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and recommend changes to existing compensation programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Develop and maintain compensation programs, policies, and procedures that align with organizational objectives and strategies.
  3. Analyze market data and trends to ensure the organization is competitively positioned in the marketplace.
  4. Collaborate with Human Resources and other departments to ensure the organization’s compensation programs are effectively communicated and understood.
  5. Prepare and analyze compensation reports and data to identify potential areas for improvement.
  6. Assist with the administration of compensation programs, such as bonus and incentive plans, to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  7. Participate in the design, development, and implementation of new compensation programs and initiatives.
  8. Provide guidance and advice on compensation matters to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
  10. Monitor and audit payroll and compensation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
