Principal Project Engineer

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal Project Engineer to join our team. This position requires a dynamic individual who can take initiative and think ahead to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented leader, possess strong problem solving and technical skills, and demonstrate a history of successful project delivery. This position requires a combination of engineering and management skills, and the ability to motivate a team of engineers and other technical staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering• At least 15 years of engineering experience with 10 of those years in project management or lead engineer roles• Strong working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations• Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and mentor project teams• Excellent communication and organizational skills• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
