- Conduct archaeological research and fieldwork to uncover historical artifacts and sites.
- Develop and implement excavation plans and strategies.
- Analyze and interpret data collected from excavations and other sources.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure cultural heritage preservation is incorporated into project plans and designs.
- Prepare and present reports, presentations, and publications on archaeological findings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all archaeological work.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to archaeological work.
- Use advanced technology and techniques to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of archaeological work.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of cultural resource management plans.
- Train and mentor junior team members in archaeological methods and techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and community members to ensure their involvement and understanding of archaeological work.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and research in the field of archaeology.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars to share knowledge and expertise with the wider archaeological community.
- Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines set by professional organizations and regulatory bodies.
- Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to ensure the highest quality of work and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Archaeology, Anthropology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Field Experience In Archaeological Survey, Excavation, And Data Collection.
Strong Knowledge Of Cultural Resource Management Laws And Regulations.
Proficiency In Gis And Other Archaeological Data Management Software.
Excellent Communication And Technical Writing Skills For Report Preparation And Project Proposals.
