- Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned projects, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Ensure that all deadlines are met and projects are executed flawlessly.
- Communicate effectively with team members, producers, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to projects.
- Collaborate with writers, directors, and producers to develop creative concepts and story ideas.
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct research and gather information for projects as needed.
- Stay informed of current events and news to identify potential story opportunities for future projects.
- Serve as a liaison between the production team and external partners, such as talent agencies and vendors.
- Ensure all necessary legal and clearance requirements are met for projects.
- Work closely with post-production team to review and approve final cuts of projects.
- Keep accurate records of project progress and provide regular updates to management.
- Represent the studio in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Continuously seek opportunities for growth and improvement within the role and the studio as a whole.
Bachelor's Degree In Journalism, Communications, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Newsroom Or Editorial Role.
Strong Editorial Judgement And Ability To Identify Newsworthy Stories.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills.
Proficiency In Industry-Standard Software And Tools For News Production, Such As Avid Or Final Cut Pro.
