  1. Oversee the distribution of Papa John's pizzas and other food items to various locations.
  2. Manage and lead a team of distribution staff, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service.
  3. Ensure all distribution processes and procedures are followed and in compliance with company standards.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of ingredients.
  5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels.
  6. Train and develop distribution staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  7. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures for distribution operations.
  8. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and transportation, to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
  9. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  10. Monitor and analyze distribution data to make informed decisions and recommendations for process improvements.
  11. Resolve any distribution issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  13. Represent Papa John's Pizza in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to distribution and logistics.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Experience In A Supervisory Role: A Distribution Shift Supervisor At Papa John's Pizza Should Have Previous Experience In A Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Distribution Or Warehouse Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Effectively Manage And Lead A Team.

  • Knowledge Of Inventory Management: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Principles, Including Inventory Control, Stock Rotation, And Order Fulfillment. This Will Ensure That The Distribution Center Is Always Well-Stocked And Efficient.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Supervisor, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Both Employees And Management. They Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Information And Instructions.

  • Strong Leadership Abilities: The Distribution Shift Supervisor Should Be A Natural Leader With The Ability To Motivate And Guide Their Team. They Should Be Able To Handle Conflicts And Make Decisions Under Pressure.

  • Attention To Detail: A High Level Of Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role To Ensure Accuracy In Order Fulfillment And Inventory Management. The Candidate Should Be Able To Spot Potential Issues And Resolve Them Quickly To Maintain The Smooth Operation Of The Distribution Center.
