- Assist the General Manager in daily operations of the restaurant.
- Train and supervise staff to ensure high-quality service and adherence to company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate company updates and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to create and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment to ensure a positive dining experience for customers.
- Assist with scheduling and payroll tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Act as a role model for employees by demonstrating excellent customer service and work ethic.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
- Assist with marketing efforts to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager.
Experience In The Restaurant Industry: A Candidate For The Assistant General Manager Position At Papa John's Pizza Should Have Previous Experience Working In The Restaurant Industry, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role. This Will Demonstrate Their Knowledge Of The Industry And Their Ability To Handle The Fast-Paced Environment Of A Pizza Restaurant.
Strong Leadership Skills: As The Assistant General Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Employees And Ensuring That Operations Run Smoothly. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Manage A Team Effectively.
