  1. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers and drive sales of our SD-WAN solutions.
  2. Develop and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing the value and capabilities of our SD-WAN solutions.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing technical guidance and support throughout the sales process.
  4. Conduct in-depth technical discussions with customers, understanding their network infrastructure and recommending the best SD-WAN solutions to meet their business requirements.
  5. Partner with the product development team to provide feedback and insights from customer interactions, helping to drive product improvements and enhancements.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in SD-WAN technology, and effectively communicate these updates to the sales team and customers.
  7. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and deliver technical content and materials that support the sales process, including whitepapers, case studies, and product guides.
  8. Train and mentor junior members of the presales engineering team, providing technical guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  9. Attend industry events and conferences, representing Palo Alto Networks and promoting our SD-WAN solutions to potential customers.
  10. Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the SD-WAN team.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Sd-Wan Technology: A Technical Sales Manager For Sd-Wan At Palo Alto Networks Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Sd-Wan Technology, Including Its Capabilities, Limitations, And Best Practices.

  • Experience In Presales Support: This Role Requires Strong Presales Skills, Including The Ability To Understand Customer Needs And Tailor Technical Solutions To Meet Those Needs. Candidates Should Have A Track Record Of Successful Presales Support In A Similar Role.

  • Strong Networking Background: A Technical Sales Manager For Sd-Wan Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Networking Technologies, Including Routing, Switching, And Wan Optimization. Knowledge Of Security Protocols And Best Practices Is Also Necessary.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Key Point Of Contact For Potential Customers, The Technical Sales Manager Must Possess Exceptional Communication And Presentation Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Convey Technical Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Sales Experience And Business Acumen: Along With Technical Expertise, This Role Also Requires A Strong Sales Background And Business Acumen. Candidates Should Have Experience In Developing And Executing Sales Strategies, As Well As A Deep Understanding Of The Competitive Landscape In The Sd-Wan Market.
