Job Description

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technical Support Engineer to join our team and support our United States Government customers. As a VM Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and solutions for our customers' virtualized networks. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual with a strong passion for technology and a deep understanding of virtualization and security.   1. Provide technical support to Palo Alto Networks' United States Government customers.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex virtualization and security issues for customers.
  3. Utilize deep understanding of virtualization and security to provide effective solutions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and accurate resolutions.
  5. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support to customers.
  6. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in virtualization and security.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  8. Document and communicate technical solutions and best practices to customers and internal teams.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the technical support team.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide training and knowledge sharing to junior team members.
  11. Represent Palo Alto Networks in a professional manner and uphold company values.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as government regulations and compliance standards.
  13. Continuously strive to enhance customer experience and exceed expectations.
  14. Act as an advocate for customers within the company and provide feedback for product improvement.
  15. Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify expansion opportunities with existing customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Virtualization Technologies: The Sr. Technical Support Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience With Virtualization Technologies Such As Vmware, Hyper-V, And Kvm. They Should Be Able To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Issues Related To Virtualization In A Timely And Efficient Manner.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Palo Alto Networks Products: The Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Palo Alto Networks Products, Including Firewalls, Vpns, And Cloud Security Solutions. They Should Be Able To Provide Technical Guidance And Support To Government Customers On These Products.

  • Security Clearance: As This Position Involves Working With Government Clients, A Security Clearance Is A Must-Have Qualification. The Candidate Should Possess An Active Security Clearance Or Be Able To Obtain One In A Timely Manner.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Sr. Technical Support Engineer Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Individuals And Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills. They Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Technical Issues And Provide Effective Solutions To Government Clients. They Should Also Have A Customer-Centric Approach And Be Able To Handle High-Pressure Situations With Ease.
