Job Description

Welcome to Palo Alto Networks, a leading cybersecurity company that is dedicated to protecting our customers and their assets from cyber threats. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help us develop our Cloud Management Platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the user interface and full-stack of our cloud-based platform. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating intuitive and efficient user experiences and has a strong background in both frontend and backend development. If you are a self-motivated problem-solver with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, we would love for you to join our team and help us make a difference in the world of cybersecurity.

  1. Design and implement the user interface and full-stack of our Cloud Management Platform.
  2. Collaborate with product management and design teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  3. Develop efficient and intuitive user experiences that meet customer needs and align with industry standards.
  4. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using modern frontend and backend technologies.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  6. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
  8. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of various components and systems.
  9. Participate in Agile development processes and meetings.
  10. Mentor and guide junior team members to improve their technical skills.
  11. Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to ensure high-quality and bug-free code.
  12. Proactively identify and address potential technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
  13. Adhere to coding standards and best practices set by the company.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.
  15. Continuously evaluate and enhance the performance and scalability of the platform.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Cloud Management Platforms: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience With Various Cloud Management Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Infrastructure As Code, Automation, And Devops Principles.

  • Strong Full-Stack Development Skills: The Sr Software Engineer Should Possess Strong Full-Stack Development Skills With A Focus On Ui Development. They Should Have A Strong Grasp Of Front-End Technologies Such As Javascript, Html, And Css, As Well As Experience With Back-End Languages Like Java, Python, Or Node.js.

  • Knowledge Of Security Best Practices: As A Leading Cybersecurity Company, Palo Alto Networks Values Security Expertise In All Its Roles. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Security Best Practices And Experience Incorporating Them Into Their Development Process.

  • Experience With Agile Methodologies: The Sr Software Engineer Should Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment, Following Agile Principles And Methods Such As Scrum Or Kanban. They Should Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Adapt To Changing Requirements And Priorities.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Palo Alto Networks Values Individuals Who Are Able To Think Critically And Find Efficient Solutions To Complex Problems. The Sr Software Engineer Should Be Able To Troubleshoot Issues, Debug Code, And Implement Effective Solutions To Ensure The Stability And Functionality Of The Cloud Management Platform.
