Extensive Experience In Vulnerability Assessment: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Vulnerability Assessment With At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In The Field. They Should Be Well-Versed With Industry-Standard Scanning Tools And Techniques, As Well As Possess In-Depth Knowledge Of Vulnerability Management Processes.
Proficiency In Cortex Xpanse: As A Sr Principal Software Engineer At Palo Alto Networks, The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Working With Cortex Xpanse, The Company's Flagship Vulnerability Management Platform. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Platform's Capabilities And Be Able To Leverage It To Conduct Comprehensive Vulnerability Assessments.
Strong Programming Skills: The Role Requires The Candidate To Have Strong Programming Skills In Languages Such As Python, Java, Or C++. They Should Be Able To Write Custom Scripts And Develop Tools To Automate Vulnerability Scanning And Reporting Processes.
