  1. Conducting in-depth research and analysis of the education industry, including current trends and challenges related to security and network protection.
  2. Collaborating with sales teams to identify potential clients in the SLED sector, specifically in the education industry, and developing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  3. Providing expert guidance and support to SLED clients in the education sector, understanding their specific security needs and delivering effective solutions.
  4. Utilizing your strong background in pre-sales to effectively communicate the value of our cutting-edge technology and services to potential clients.
  5. Developing and delivering presentations, demos, and proposals to showcase our solutions and expertise to clients.
  6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and providing ongoing support and guidance.
  7. Staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in security technology to continuously enhance our solutions and services.
  8. Collaborating with internal teams, including product development and marketing, to gather and share insights and feedback from clients to improve our offerings.
  9. Assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to expand our presence in the education market.
  10. Representing Palo Alto Networks at industry events and conferences, effectively promoting our solutions and services to potential clients.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Knowledge And Understanding Of Cybersecurity Solutions: A Solutions Consultant 2 (Pre Sales) For Sled Education At Palo Alto Networks Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cybersecurity Technologies, Including Firewalls, Threat Detection, Intrusion Prevention, And Cloud Security. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Articulate These Solutions To Clients In The Education Sector.

  • Experience In Pre-Sales And Customer Facing Roles: This Role Requires Interacting With Clients And Providing Technical Solutions To Meet Their Needs. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Pre-Sales Or Customer Facing Roles, Preferably In The Education Industry.

  • Knowledge Of The Education Sector And Its Unique Challenges: A Solutions Consultant 2 Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Education Sector, Its Regulations, And Specific Technology Needs. This Includes Knowledge Of Data Privacy Laws, Student Information Systems, And Learning Management Systems.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Solutions Consultant 2, The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders Is Crucial. Strong Presentation Skills And The Ability To Adapt To Different Audiences Are Also Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Team Player With Strong Collaboration Skills: A Solutions Consultant 2 At Palo Alto Networks Will Work Closely With The Sales Team, Product Managers, And Engineers To Develop And Present Solutions To Clients.
