Job Description

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer for our Prisma Access team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to our customers and working closely with our product development team to resolve complex issues. We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.   1. Provide advanced technical support to customers utilizing Palo Alto Networks' Prisma Access product.
  2. Collaborate with product development team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  3. Act as a subject matter expert on networking and security, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  4. Serve as a mentor to junior technical support engineers, providing guidance and support when needed.
  5. Continuously improve and expand upon technical knowledge and skills through training and self-directed learning.
  6. Utilize exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
  7. Proactively identify and address potential issues before they become larger problems.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions.
  9. Contribute to the development and improvement of technical support processes and procedures.
  10. Prioritize and manage multiple customer cases simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  11. Serve as a brand ambassador for Palo Alto Networks, delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers.
  12. Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed.
  13. Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services.
  14. Act as a liaison between customers and product development teams, providing valuable feedback and insights to inform product improvements and updates.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Technical Knowledge And Experience In Networking, Security, And Cloud Technologies, With A Strong Understanding Of Prisma Access Platform.

  • Proven Track Record Of Providing Exceptional Technical Support And Troubleshooting Skills, With The Ability To Handle Complex Customer Issues In A Timely And Efficient Manner.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Strong Relationships With Customers.

  • Experience In Managing And Leading Technical Projects, With A Strong Understanding Of Project Management Methodologies And Tools.

  • Certifications In Relevant Technologies Such As Ccna, Ccnp, Cissp, And/Or Pcnse, Demonstrating A High Level Of Expertise And Commitment To Continuous Learning In The Field.
