1. Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and processes to ensure the reliability and quality of our cybersecurity products.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and customer support, to understand product requirements and identify potential areas for improvement.
3. Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly and efficiently test product functionality, performance, and usability.
4. Conduct manual and automated testing to identify and report defects, and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
5. Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools for continuous integration and regression testing.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies and technologies, and proactively propose and implement improvements to our QA processes.
7. Mentor and coach junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
8. Communicate test results and status updates to stakeholders, including management, to ensure transparency and facilitate decision-making.
9. Identify and report risks and issues that may impact product quality or delivery timelines, and work with cross-functional teams to mitigate and resolve them.
10. Participate in product design and code reviews to ensure testability and identify potential areas for improvement.
11. Continuously monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
12. Adhere to industry best practices and standards for quality assurance, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
13. Collaborate with other QA engineers and teams to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.
14. Act as a subject matter expert for quality assurance within the company, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed.
15. Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality assurance documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
