Job Description

Join our dynamic team at Palo Alto Networks as a Senior NPI Program Manager! As a leader in cybersecurity, we are constantly pushing the boundaries and developing cutting-edge products to protect our customers from the ever-evolving threat landscape. We are seeking a highly experienced and driven individual to manage our new product introduction (NPI) programs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with various teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to ensure successful launch of our innovative products.   1. Develop and implement new product introduction (NPI) programs to ensure successful and timely product launches.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to gather and prioritize requirements for new product development.
  3. Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet NPI program goals and objectives.
  4. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact product development and launch.
  5. Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
  6. Lead and facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of project tasks.
  7. Ensure all NPI programs adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  8. Conduct post-launch evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  9. Mentor and coach junior project managers on best practices for NPI program management.
  10. Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in product development to drive innovation and efficiency in NPI processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Managing New Product Introduction (Npi) Programs: A Senior Npi Program Manager At Palo Alto Networks Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Managing Complex Npi Programs, Preferably In The Technology Industry. They Should Be Well-Versed In Npi Methodologies, Product Development Processes, And Project Management Tools.

  • Strong Technical Background: This Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of The Technology Landscape, Including Network Security, Cloud, And Software Development. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Technical Degree, Such As Computer Science Or Engineering, And A Solid Understanding Of Software Development Life Cycle (Sdlc).

  • Proven Leadership Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Npi Team, This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Influence Cross-Functional Teams, Including Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, And Marketing. The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Delivering Complex Projects On Time And Within Budget.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Senior Npi Program Manager Must Be An Effective Communicator With The Ability To Communicate Complex Technical Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Build Strong Relationships With Teams Across Different Functions And Geographies.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: This Role Requires A Strategic Thinker Who Can Anticipate Potential Roadblocks And Proactively Develop Plans To Mitigate Risks. The Candidate Should Also Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions To Drive The Success Of The Npi Program.
