As a Senior CloudOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the security and reliability of our cloud-based products and services.   1. Manage and maintain the company's cloud infrastructure, ensuring its security and reliability.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy cloud-based products and services.
  3. Develop and implement best practices for cloud operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery.
  4. Continuously monitor and optimize the performance and cost of the company's cloud infrastructure.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the cloud environment.
  6. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in cloud technology and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Work closely with the cybersecurity team to ensure that all cloud-based products and services meet security standards and regulations.
  8. Lead and mentor junior members of the CloudOps team.
  9. Document and maintain standard operating procedures for cloud operations.
  10. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical cloud-based systems.
  11. Provide regular updates and reports to management on the status of the cloud infrastructure.
  12. Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline cloud operations.
  13. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth integration and operation of cloud services.
  14. Stay informed on industry best practices and make recommendations to improve the company's cloud infrastructure and operations.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Cloud Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Hands-On Experience Working With Cloud Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud. They Should Be Well-Versed In Cloud Architecture, Deployment, And Automation Tools.

  • Strong Scripting And Automation Skills: A Senior Cloudops Engineer Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Coding And Scripting Languages Such As Python, Bash, Or Powershell. They Should Also Have Experience With Configuration Management Tools Like Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Devops Principles: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Devops Methodologies And Practices, Including Continuous Integration And Delivery, Infrastructure As Code, And Monitoring And Logging.

  • Experience With Security And Compliance: As A Leading Cybersecurity Company, Palo Alto Networks Places A Strong Emphasis On Security And Compliance. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Implementing Security Best Practices In A Cloud Environment And Ensuring Compliance With Industry Regulations.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Cloudops Engineer Should Be Able To Quickly Identify And Resolve Complex Technical Issues In A Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment. They Should Also Have Experience With Incident Management And Root Cause Analysis.
