  1. Conduct thorough and ongoing research on potential vulnerabilities in our products.
  2. Analyze and prioritize potential vulnerabilities based on severity and impact.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to identified vulnerabilities.
  4. Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and industry best practices for vulnerability research.
  5. Proactively identify and report potential security risks to our products.
  6. Conduct penetration testing and other security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  7. Work closely with our development teams to ensure secure coding practices are followed.
  8. Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  9. Develop and maintain tools and processes to enhance vulnerability research and analysis.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to other team members on vulnerability research.
  11. Stay informed on the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve our products.
  12. Collaborate with external security researchers and participate in bug bounty programs to enhance product security.
  13. Conduct security training and awareness sessions for internal teams.
  14. Participate in incident response and remediation efforts related to product vulnerabilities.
  15. Continuously review and improve product security policies and processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Vulnerability Research: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Finding And Exploiting Vulnerabilities In Software And Systems. They Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Common Attack Vectors And Be Able To Identify And Analyze Security Flaws In Complex Systems.

  • Strong Programming Skills: A Principal Product Security Researcher Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As C, C++, Python, And Assembly. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Reverse Engineering And Debugging Tools.

  • Knowledge Of Network And System Security: A Deep Understanding Of Network Protocols, Operating Systems, And Security Technologies Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Identify Potential Security Risks And Develop Effective Solutions To Mitigate Them.

  • Familiarity With Security Testing Tools: The Candidate Should Have Experience Using Various Security Testing Tools Such As Fuzzers, Code Scanners, And Penetration Testing Frameworks. They Should Be Able To Utilize These Tools To Discover Vulnerabilities And Develop Effective Mitigation Strategies.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: A Principal Product Security Researcher Will Be Expected To Lead A Team Of Researchers And Collaborate With Various Stakeholders Within The Organization. As Such, Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Audiences.
