- Conduct thorough assessments of client systems and networks to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and execute offensive security strategies and tactics to simulate real-world cyber attacks and identify weaknesses in clients' defenses.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients on how to remediate identified vulnerabilities and improve overall security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve and innovate offensive security services and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to ensure our services are always at the forefront of the industry.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific security needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on offensive security, providing guidance and support to internal teams and clients.
- Train and mentor junior members of the Offensive Security team to develop their skills and expertise.
- Work closely with sales and account management teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Represent Palo Alto Networks at industry events and conferences to showcase our offensive security capabilities and thought leadership.
Extensive Experience In Offensive Security Techniques And Tactics: The Principal Consultant Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Offensive Security Techniques Such As Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, Social Engineering, And Threat Modeling. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In The Latest Tools And Technologies Used In Offensive Security.
Strong Knowledge Of Network And Application Security: The Principal Consultant Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Network And Application Security Concepts, Protocols, And Architectures. This Includes Knowledge Of Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Web Application Firewalls, And Other Security Technologies.
Proven Track Record In Leading Security Projects: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Successful Track Record In Leading And Managing Complex Security Projects. This Includes Experience In Scoping, Planning, And Executing Offensive Security Engagements For Clients.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Principal Consultant, The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Deliver Presentations And Reports That Clearly Articulate The Findings And Recommendations From Security Assessments.
Industry Certifications: Candidates Should Hold Relevant Industry Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp), Offensive Security Certified Professional (Oscp), Certified Ethical Hacker (Ceh), Or Other Similar Certifications. These Certifications Demonstrate A High Level Of Expertise And Commitment To The Field Of Offensive Security.
