  1. Lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and delivering innovative solutions for the Cortex Xpanse platform.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  3. Set clear goals and objectives for the engineering team and ensure they are met.
  4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to drive continuous improvement and growth.
  5. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the engineering team.
  6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their professional development.
  7. Work closely with product management to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  8. Ensure the quality and timely delivery of software releases by implementing effective project management practices.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  10. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity within the engineering team.
  11. Work closely with other managers and stakeholders to align engineering efforts with overall business goals.
  12. Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  13. Serve as a point of escalation for technical challenges and provide timely resolution.
  14. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers and address their technical concerns.
  15. Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and open communication within the engineering team.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Software Engineering, With At Least 3 Years In A Managerial Or Leadership Role.

  • Proficient In Various Programming Languages And Development Tools, Such As Python, Java, And Git.

  • Strong Understanding Of Software Development Methodologies, Including Agile, Scrum, And Devops.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing A Team Of Software Engineers, Including Hiring, Training, And Performance Management.

  • Experience In The Cybersecurity Industry, Particularly In Network Security And/Or Cloud Security, Is Highly Preferred.
