Job Description

As a highly driven and ambitious Inside Sales Representative for our SLED SMB team at Palo Alto Networks, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our organization. We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented individual who is ready to take on the challenge of selling our cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to small and medium-sized businesses in the state, local, and education (SLED) sector. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a strong sales background, who is eager to make an impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.   1. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and meet or exceed sales targets in the SLED SMB market.
  2. Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the SLED SMB sector.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with SLED SMB clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  4. Actively participate in the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and technical support, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the team.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  8. Meet and exceed key performance indicators, including sales targets, pipeline development, and customer retention.
  9. Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to network and promote the company's products and services.
  10. Act as a brand ambassador for Palo Alto Networks, representing the company's values and mission to potential and existing customers.
  11. Continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge through training and self-study.
  12. Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times, representing the company's brand and reputation.
  13. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  14. Collaborate with team members to share best practices and improve overall sales performance.
  15. Embrace a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, adapting to changes and challenges with a positive and resilient attitude.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Inside Sales, Preferably In The Technology Industry.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Clients And Effectively Convey Product Information.

  • Proven Track Record Of Meeting Or Exceeding Sales Targets And Quotas.

  • Knowledge Of Sled (State, Local, And Education) And Smb (Small And Medium Business) Markets And Experience Selling To These Segments.
