As a Domain Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our Cortex products and solutions through your expertise and deep understanding of cybersecurity domains.   1. Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the cybersecurity landscape to stay updated on the latest trends and threats.
  2. Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential customers and understand their specific needs and challenges.
  3. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Palo Alto Networks' Cortex products and solutions.
  4. Use your expertise in cybersecurity domains to provide technical guidance and recommendations to customers.
  5. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Cortex products.
  6. Work closely with the product development team to provide feedback on customer needs and help shape the future direction of the product.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their evolving needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Act as a subject matter expert for the Cortex product line and provide technical support to the sales team.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver customized solutions to meet customer requirements.
  10. Participate in industry events and conferences to showcase Cortex products and build brand awareness.
  11. Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and customers on Cortex products and solutions.
  12. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure Cortex products are in line with industry standards.
  13. Continuously monitor and analyze competitor products to identify strengths and weaknesses and make recommendations for improvement.
  14. Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies for Cortex products.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM system.

This Includes Expertise In Areas Such As Endpoint Security, Network Security, Cloud Security, And Automation.

  • Strong Technical Background: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Technical Background, With Experience In Cybersecurity And Related Fields. They Should Be Well-Versed In Industry Standards, Protocols, And Technologies, As Well As Have A Deep Understanding Of Enterprise It Infrastructure.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Domain Consultant (Presales), Effective Communication Is Essential In Understanding And Addressing The Needs Of Potential Clients. This Role Requires The Ability To Articulate Complex Technical Concepts In A Clear And Concise Manner, Both Verbally And In Written Form.

  • Pre-Sales Experience: Prior Experience In A Pre-Sales Role Is Highly Desirable For A Domain Consultant (Presales) At Palo Alto Networks. This Includes A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Engaging With Clients, Understanding Their Requirements, And Presenting Solutions That Meet Their Needs.

  • Customer-Oriented Approach: A Domain Consultant (Presales) Should Have A Customer-Oriented Mindset, With A Focus On Building Strong Relationships With Clients. This Involves Actively Listening To Customer Feedback, Understanding Their Pain Points, And Offering Tailored Solutions To Address Their Specific Needs.
