- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for the Security Operations - Proactive Services Unit 42 in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of Palo Alto Networks.
- Provide expert guidance and leadership to clients in the area of security operations, including identifying and addressing their security needs and concerns.
- Manage and oversee a team of consultants, providing mentorship, training, and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the cybersecurity industry, and leverage this knowledge to continuously improve and enhance the services offered by the Security Operations - Proactive Services Unit 42.
- Collaborate with other teams within Palo Alto Networks, such as product development and sales, to ensure a cohesive and seamless experience for clients.
- Act as a subject matter expert, conducting research and analysis on emerging security threats and providing recommendations to clients on how to mitigate and prevent them.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and support the sales process by providing technical expertise and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of the Security Operations - Proactive Services Unit 42, and use this data to drive continuous improvement.
- Represent Palo Alto Networks as a thought leader in the cybersecurity industry, participating in conferences, panels, and other speaking engagements to share insights and knowledge with the broader community.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards, to ensure the highest level of professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Extensive Experience In Security Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Security Operations, Including Hands-On Experience In Threat Detection, Incident Response, And Security Intelligence.
Proven Leadership Skills: As A Consulting Director, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Security Professionals. Therefore, They Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Developing Teams, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Proactive Security Services: The Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Proactive Security Services, Such As Threat Hunting, Vulnerability Management, And Security Assessments.
