- Develop and implement strategic plans for delivering incident response services to clients.
- Lead and manage a team of incident response consultants, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Ensure the quality and timely delivery of incident response services, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in incident response and apply them to improve service offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve any issues or challenges in service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions to their problems.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and protocols for incident response activities.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
- Represent the company in industry events and conferences, showcasing our incident response services and expertise.
- Keep track of key metrics and prepare reports on the team's performance and service delivery for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures in the incident response process.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
Extensive Experience In Incident Response And Threat Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Incident Response, Threat Management, And Security Operations. This Includes Hands-On Experience In Handling Complex Security Incidents, Conducting Forensic Investigations, And Managing Large-Scale Security Operations.
Strong Knowledge Of Network And System Security: The Consulting Director Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Network And System Security Principles, Including Intrusion Detection And Prevention, Firewalls, Secure Coding Practices, And Vulnerability Management. They Should Also Be Familiar With Various Security Frameworks And Regulations Such As Nist, Iso, And Gdpr.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Consulting Director, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Incident Response Consultants. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders, Delegate Tasks, And Manage Client Expectations.
Experience In Client-Facing Roles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Client-Facing Roles, Such As Consulting Or Sales, Preferably In The Cybersecurity Industry. They Should Be Able To Understand And Analyze Client Needs, Provide Effective Solutions, And Build Long-Term Relationships With Clients.
Relevant Certifications: A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Security, Or A Related Field Is Preferred. Additionally, Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Giac, Or Other Relevant Industry Certifications Are Highly Desirable For This Role.
