Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Buyer to join the Mens Branded Apparel team at PacSun. The successful candidate will have a passion for fashion and current trends, an eye for detail, and a knack for negotiating and working with vendors. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the direction of our menswear brand and build something special with the PacSun team.The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in buying and/or product management in the apparel space, a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, and an understanding of the menswear market. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, highly organized, and driven to excel in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a strong sense of accountability and ownership for their work.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with vendors to negotiate deals on menswear products.
  2. Research current fashion and apparel trends in the menswear market.
  3. Develop and manage menswear product lines and collections.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate product replenishment.
  5. Manage product pricing and promotional activities.
  6. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
  7. Work with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and materials.
  8. Participate in trade shows and conferences to stay up to date on industry developments.
  9. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and customers.
  10. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
