
Water Resource Engineer
We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Water Resource Engineer at Pacific Gas and Electric. As a Water Resource Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for preserving and protecting the water resources of our communities. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a specialization in Water Resources Engineering, and 5+ years of experience in the field. In addition, you must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze water resources in the community to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Develop strategies to protect and preserve water resources for long-term sustainability.
- Design and implement water resource management plans and programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient use of water resources.
- Monitor and review water resource data and reports to identify any potential issues.
- Stay up to date on relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure general understanding of water resource issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as needed.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
