- Participate in emergency response efforts, including responding to gas leaks and other incidents, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment and vehicles used in the gas distribution process.

Knowledge Of Gas Transmission And Distribution Systems: A Utility Worker In This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Gas Transmission And Distribution Systems, Including Safety Protocols, Equipment, And Maintenance Procedures.
Technical Skills: This Position Requires Technical Skills Such As The Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints, Use Hand And Power Tools, And Operate Heavy Machinery. Experience With Gas Leak Detection And Repair Is Also Preferred.
Physical Fitness: Working As A Utility Worker In Gas Transmission And Distribution Can Be Physically Demanding. Candidates Should Be In Good Physical Condition And Able To Lift Heavy Equipment, Work In Various Weather Conditions, And Perform Tasks That Require Bending, Climbing, And Kneeling.
