
Senior HR Investigator

- Conduct thorough investigations into complex employee relations issues, including discrimination, harassment, and other workplace complaints.
- Interview relevant parties and gather evidence to determine the facts of each case.
- Analyze and interpret HR policies and procedures to determine if any violations have occurred.
- Provide recommendations for resolving employee complaints and disputes, including disciplinary action and corrective measures.
- Act as a subject matter expert and resource for managers and HR team members on employee relations issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of investigations and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Communicate with employees and management in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as legal and compliance, to address complex employee relations issues.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends related to employee relations and investigations.
- Mentor and provide guidance to other HR investigators.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Make recommendations for process improvements to promote a fair and equitable workplace.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings related to employee relations issues, if necessary.
Extensive Experience In Conducting Complex Workplace Investigations: The Senior Hr Investigator At Pacific Gas And Electric Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Conducting Investigations Related To Workplace Harassment, Discrimination, And Other Employee-Related Issues.
Strong Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: The Candidate Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations, Including Title Vii, Ada, And Fmla, To Ensure That All Investigations Are Conducted In Compliance With Legal Requirements.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Of Senior Hr Investigator Requires Effective Communication With Employees, Hr Staff, And Senior Management. The Candidate Must Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Accurately Document And Present Findings And Recommendations.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Analyze Complex Information, Identify Patterns, And Reach Logical Conclusions Is Crucial In Conducting Successful Investigations.
