Job Description

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) invites you to join our team as a Project Manager and help us further our mission of powering California with affordable, reliable, clean energy. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting all requirements and expectations. You will be the point of contact between PG&E stakeholders and project teams and will be expected to provide oversight and guidance throughout the project life cycle.To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on the energy industry. You should be a self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and project teams. You should also have a successful track record of leading projects to completion, and an in-depth understanding of project management principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all requirements and expectations are met.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and other related documentation.
Act as the point of contact between PG&E stakeholders and project teams.
Monitor progress and provide oversight and guidance throughout the project life cycle.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and project teams.
Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Track project progress and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.
Identify potential areas of risk and implement mitigation strategies.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and implement strategies to ensure project success.
