As a Principal Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential risks and ensuring regulatory compliance across our organization.   1. Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks across the organization.
  2. Conduct thorough risk assessments and communicate findings to senior management, providing recommendations for risk mitigation.
  3. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  4. Lead a team to ensure all business processes and practices are in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices for risk management and compliance.
  6. Provide training and guidance to employees on risk management and compliance policies and procedures.
  7. Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and potential areas of improvement in risk management and compliance efforts.
  8. Prepare and present reports to senior management and regulatory agencies on the organization's risk management and compliance efforts.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure the organization remains in good standing.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve risk management and compliance processes to adapt to changing business needs and regulations.
  11. Mentor and coach junior analysts to develop their skills and knowledge in risk management and compliance.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on risk management and compliance matters, providing guidance and support to various departments and teams within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Risk Management And Compliance, Preferably In The Energy Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations, Including But Not Limited To Nerc, Ferc, And Cpuc Requirements.

  • Experience With Developing And Implementing Risk Management Frameworks And Conducting Risk Assessments.

  • Excellent Communication And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Risk And Compliance Concepts To Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
