  1. Lead the development and implementation of quantitative analysis strategies and methodologies to support decision-making processes.
  2. Utilize advanced statistical techniques and modeling tools to analyze complex data sets and provide insights and recommendations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  4. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quantitative analysis and apply them to enhance PG&E's operations.
  7. Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  8. Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
  9. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to data analysis and modeling.
  10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the quantitative analysis process.
  11. Act as a role model for the department, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  12. Participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the team.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  14. Represent PG&E at industry conferences and events, showcasing our expertise in quantitative analysis.
  15. Collaborate with other senior leaders to set strategic goals and objectives for the department and ensure alignment with the company's overall vision and mission.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Or A Related Field.

  • Extensive Experience In Quantitative Analysis, Preferably In The Energy Or Utility Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Statistical Modeling Techniques And Data Analysis Methods.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python, R, Or Sas.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Complex Data And Insights To Stakeholders And Senior Management.
