- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all relevant IT regulatory requirements and standards.
- Monitor and assess changes in IT regulatory landscape and communicate potential impacts to the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with IT regulatory requirements in all areas of the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and develop action plans to address them.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with IT regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IT regulatory compliance activities.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on IT regulatory standards and best practices.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all technology projects and initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on IT regulatory requirements and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Participate in regulatory meetings and represent the organization in discussions related to IT regulatory compliance.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in IT regulatory compliance and make recommendations for adoption.
- Proactively identify potential compliance issues and work with relevant stakeholders to address them in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding and adherence to IT regulatory requirements.
- Keep management informed of any changes or updates to IT regulatory requirements and their potential impact on the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Regulatory Compliance.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Regulatory Compliance Role, Preferably In The Energy Or Utility Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To It Security, Data Privacy, And Information Governance.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Regulatory Requirements And Effectively Communicate Them To Stakeholders.
Experience In Project Management, Including Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Regulatory Audits And Inspections.
