Lineman

The successful candidate will be expected to have a minimum of three years’ experience in a related field, possess a valid driver’s license and a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License, and be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions. In addition, the ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a thorough understanding of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and the California Electrical Code (CEC).

Responsibilities: • Ensure safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems • Maintain compliance with the NESC and CEC • Operate a variety of equipment and tools related to electrical systems • Identify and resolve electrical problems • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections of electrical equipment • Conduct electrical tests on equipment and systems • Perform system upgrades and repairs • Follow safety protocols and procedures • Work outside in all weather conditions • Communicate effectively and work well with a team
